Carrier Deadlines are real.

Please do not wait until the last minute.
The health insurance carriers have deadlines.
And 100% of the paperwork must be submitted prior to the deadline.

Time and time again, we are contacted by employers who desire to get their new health insurance plan in place by the first of the month. However, please understand that the health insurance carriers have deadlines. In most cases, they require that the employer submitt the paperwork (signed) by the 15th of the month for the effective of the 1st of the month.

So the clock is ticking.
It is better to act, and change your mind.
Then to not act at all.

Health insurance (as with all insurance) has a 30 day free look. In other words, you could decide after the 1st of the month that you no longer want or need the insurance. What is not possible, it to put the insurance in place if you miss the submission deadllines. So you are better to act and change your mind, then to not act at all.

We are here to help.

We can help you understand the carrier choices in your market, and their deadlines. We can help you understand the benefit and network choices. We can help you understand the Special Enrollment Period of November 15th to December 15th, when the carriers do not enforce minimum contribution or minimum participation. We are to help.

Our licensed and experienced benefit advisors can help you review important health plan benefit strategies. These strategies include level funded health plans, consumer-driven plans utilizing HRA's and HSA's, and limited benefit plans that can supplement major medical plans.

But please, do not wait until the last minute.
Beat the deadlines.
